PR Xperts Magazine LOVES Shai!
Shai is a model and actress, originally from Detroit, MI. She relocated to DeKalb, Illinois to study stage performance at Northern Illinois University (NIU), in the School of Theatre’s BFA program. After longing for city life again; Shai transferred to Columbia College Chicago. It was there, where fashion started to take on a major role in her life.
Although, primarily based in Detroit and Chicago, Shai works with a diverse group of clients from across the nation with hopes to reach an international audience within the next few years. Ready and available for touring projects at a moment’s notice—her most recent release: National Ad Campaign “Pom-Edge Gel” by Via Natural (Universal Beauty Inc.)
Shai received her start modeling as a live mannequin for Teen Vogue at a Nordstrom’s grand opening in Michigan. Shortly after she experienced her first taste of runway modeling during the Roxy “Follow Your Heart Tour” presented by Schick® Quattro for Women. During the show she was recruited by Vicki Howard (Ta-Dah! Productions) for a back to school show for Somerset Collection modeling pieces from Saks and other high end stores that were in the mall. Shai revealed to PR Xperts magazine that her favorite modeling gig to date was for leather ballet flats by Chanel. In addition, Shai has modeled in Detroit and Chicago doing both runway and print work for many clients such as “Kiss Magazine”. Her most recent major release was a national ad campaign by Via Natural Beauty Products. Shai often works as a tradeshow model and has done the Detroit Auto Show, the Dubb Car Show, ACE Hardware Show and the Proud Lady Hair show just to name a few…

“This isn’t a hobby. It is my life! I am a firm believer in happiness and doing whatever it takes to obtain that happiness. In order to be successful, it is a requirement…No, a responsibility to uplift others along the way. It’s all about receiving the energy back that you put out into the universe. Everyone wants to be heard…At times one must be still to find the answer within” -Shai
